Starting with my youngest students
I work on an individual basis
to bring out each student's innate talent.
My classes are kept small
so that each student receives individual attention.
Mixed age groups in most classes allow
younger students to observe older students'work.

Students will be exposed to various media
in order to expand their repertoire and
 find out which is their favorite
so that they can pursue it further.
A classic approach to art is taught
which includes perspective drawing,
figure drawing from a live model,
basic color theory, painting in oil and watercolor,
sculpture and drawing with pastels.

which displays selected work and
is updated on a regular basis.

In 30 years of teaching
I've helped countless students
enter the top ranking art colleges
in the U.S. and Korea.
Most students receive scholarships and awards
in state and national art competitions.
My studio has been awarded
numerous national and local awards
for excellence in teaching.
